Athena Hiwot Brhane Elementary School, Ethiopia
most kids in these rural communities don’t have proper clothing and families struggle to provide them with these essential needs. Kumeshi Memorial Foundation provided 302 students and their teachers with school uniforms, shoes, 900 masks, and other school supplies for the 2021 school year. The foundation will continue to provide these school supplies on biannual bases.
Community Clinic
One of the major needs in rural Ethiopian communities is healthcare access. Kumeshi Memorial Foundation is working with the Sodo woreda in the Southern regional State to acquire land to establish a community clean that will provide urgent and emergent care for the community of over 25,000 people.

Kumeshi Memorial Foundation partners with other community need providers in Ethiopia. From 2020 to 2021, Kumeshi Memorial Foundation provided monthly financial support to Nehemiah Autism Center in Addis Abeba
